Hey Havasu! 🇺🇸 Today is Flag Day, and we’re feeling extra patriotic here at Patriot Pool Pros.
We all know to fly the flag on June 14th, but the story behind it is actually pretty cool. Back during the Revolutionary War, our troops were fighting under all sorts of different banners. They needed one unifying symbol, so on this exact day in 1777, the Continental Congress officially adopted the Stars and Stripes 13 stars and 13 stripes to represent a "new constellation.
People celebrated it locally for over a century, but it wasn't until 1949 that President Truman officially made Flag Day a permanent national observance.
As a local business proud to carry the Patriot name, we love any excuse to celebrate the red, white, and blue. So whether you’re firing up the grill today or just staying cool floating in a crystal-clear pool (we can definitely help keep it that way 😉), take a second to appreciate the flag.

We just wrapped up a gas to electric heat pump conversion for a customer. Working in narrow side yards and tying into the original builder’s existing plumbing layout is always a bit of a puzzle, but everything came together nicely.
